Synopsis

Presenter Barry Askew interviews businessman Adrian de Ferranti, who is part of the Ferranti family, known for their family business in electronics, computers and electrical goods. Ferranti speaks about his grandfather Sebastian Ziani de Ferranti, who was a pioneer of the electrical engineering industry, his father Sir Vincent Ziani de Ferranti, the company's 8,000 employees in the North West and the wealth of talent in the UK's electrical industry that is not exploited.
