Synopsis

Programme looking at the sports of parachuting and hang-gliding. A female reporter visits parachuting enthusiasts at the North West Parachute Centre at Cark, Cumbria and hang-gliders from the Pennine Hang-gliding Club. There are interviews with many of the enthusiasts about their love of their sport, including parachuting instructors Dave Prince and Brian Laithwaite; parachutist Brenda Carrol; Pennine Hang-gliding Club Secretary Colin McCormack; and hang-gliders Tony Wood and Graham Hobson. Includes aerial shots from a plane, various people skydiving, parachuting and landing in fields, members of the Pennine Hang-gliding Club in a pub and various hang-gliders taking off from a cliff edge and in the air.
