Synopsis

A number of studio-based pieces to camera but no filmed inserts. Barry Askew presents from a studio (black and white) welcoming the audience to Wait While: "The weekly programme from the North West for the North West". He introduces (but we don't see) Ken Dodd in Chester, Stan Kelly the Liverpudlian singer and songwriter and Joe Brown, the world famous rock climber from Ardwick. We see footage of Joe Brown rock climbing (in Snowdonia?) (colour).
