VT 1/RNW A224/7: Stuart Hall with a report on an essay competition which was run in the North West for school children in the region, with the theme of the worst eyesores in the North West. The four winners of the competition were Deborah Taylor, aged 11 from Rochdale, Jane Fawcett aged 12, from Oldham, Jason Swale aged 15 from Littleborough and Paul Rimmer aged 7 from Bolton, all read their essays and took us to their ‘eyesore’.
