Synopsis

Lynda Lee-Potter visits "Matchpoint", the Tennis Centre of Excellence for the North West, also called Bramhall Lane Tennis Club in Stockport, which was built in 1983. Youngsters are seen playing tennis on the indoor courts in the Cheshire Junior Tennis Championships. The Lawn Tennis Association's National Coach and Development Officer, Charles Applemite and tennis professional Virginia Wade are seen coaching the youngsters and are interviewed. Some of the youngsters give their views on tennis.
