Synopsis

A selection of pieces to camera by members of the public. A woman talks about her son who has autism and her plan to convert a house into a teaching unit for autistic children. A couple are shown in the maternity unit reception at Fairfield Hospital, Bury, who talk about the small minority of fathers that are present at their children's births and recommend it to couples. Several women are interviewed in the unit, some pregnant and some with babies, about the benefits and drawbacks to having the father present. A woman is shown in her kitchen talking about how clumsy and accident-prone she is and how people should be more understanding. An elderly woman mentions the negative aspects of playing bingo. A 59 year-old man is shown driving to a park, getting out and doing pull ups, standing on his head and running. He speaks of the benefits of keeping the body and mind healthy and active.
