Synopsis

B15/1: Frank Mellor visits and interviews a market gardener on the Fylde coast in Lancashire, a farmer who favours shire horses over tractors and a young couple Gus and June Moody with no farming experience who have bought Raven Rock farm near Wycoller in East Lancashire. The market gardener speaks about the problems involved with growing crops and shows Mellor around his greenhouses. The elderly farmer is seen with his shire horses on his 'old fashioned' free-range farm. June and Gus speak about the hard work they've put into their farm and there are shots of them milking cows, dry stone walling and feeding hens. 23m01s
