Synopsis

News item in which reporter Nick Clarke reports on a new experimental vehicle - the Lucas electric bus - for operation in Manchester City Centre. The Lucas electric bus is reported to be environmentally friendly - producing less fumes and a quieter, smoother ride. There are shots of the bus at Piccadilly Railway Station, driver and passengers are briefly asked what they think of it and a Lucas spokesman describes the experiment.
