Synopsis

Includes sections featuring three designers. Begins with an interview with Warrington-born Raymond "Ossie" Clark (1942-1996), a fashion designer who was a major figure in the Swinging Sixties scene in London. Clark is shown working on garments with his staff and female models are shown wearing some of his dresses. A young female designer is shown driving to work at her design house, negotiating with buyers and ordering fabric. Finally, a Lancashire-based female jeweller is shown designing and creating hand-made jewellery and talking about the decline of such crafts.
