Synopsis

Programme showing the return of the vintage 'Cornwall' steam train (no. 3020) to Crewe, the town where it was built. A brass band plays and crowds are gathered in Crewe city centre whilst the train arrives on the back of a trailer. There are various interviews with people in the crowd including a man who worked on the Cornwall engine in 1907. A still is seen of the locomotive in its working days and there are shots of Crewe railway station, the interior of Crewe engineering railway works and a brief shot of Crewe's Christ Church.
