Synopsis

Extract about traffic congestion and public transport in Manchester and Liverpool. Describes how Government funding has been reduced and public transport fares have risen on Merseyside and also describes future plans for improvements to the Merseyrail underground. There is an interview with two spokesmen from Centreline buses about Centreline's high frequency bus service in Manchester city centre.
