Synopsis

Filmed inserts for the series Homeground featuring St. Helens Rugby League Club. There is footage of match action in a game against Leeds, St. Helens players getting ready for a match in the changing rooms and doing sprint runs in training, male and female fans entering the ground and in the terraces and general views of St. Helens. BBC commentator Eddie Waring is shown commentating at a match and he provides a voice-over for the insert. Joe Cone(?) is shown asking players Peter Harvey and Alex Murphy about the differences between rugby union and league.
