Synopsis

Presenter Frank Mellor meets Bronwyn Nickson, owner of a hotel in Ambleside, Cumbria and enjoys a meal with her made from traditional Cumbria and Lancashire-produced food and drink. Includes shots of chefs preparing and cooking the various dishes including Morecambe shrimps, scouse soup and hotpot. Henry's chip shop on Derby Street in Bolton, the North West's first drive-through chip shop, is then featured and we see a customer ordering and paying for food at Henry's from his car.
