Synopsis

B283/1: Members of the RAF are shown at the site of wreckage of a World War II aeroplane on hills in the High Peak District and carrying the engine down the hillside. A RAF spokesman is interviewed about the number of WWII planes which crashed in the same area and the likelihood of other aircraft remains existing. An RAF exhibition is then shown which includes shots of spectators looking at a grounded Spitfire and helicopter. Various aeroplanes are then shown at RAF Woodvale at Formby and Mr Parker, an RAF pilot, is interviewed about Meteor aircraft having to be evicted from Woodvale. 07m41s
