Synopsis

Extracts from the third programme in the 'North and South' series in which reporters Felicity Goodey and Nick Clarke compare and contrast the Southern town of Luton in Bedfordshire with the Northern town of Preston. Focuses on leisure and recreation facilities in the two towns, highlighting Preston's pubs, social clubs, Guild Hall Theatre, Fulwood Leisure Centre. Teenagers in Luton complain of a lack of entertainment and Luton's facilities are highlighted as closed down or unpopular.
