Synopsis

B43/1: A selection of stories and pieces to camera by members of the public. A male presenter visits the Droyslden house of the entertaining Mr Tony McCabe, who demonstrates how to jump on an egg without breaking it... whilst not wearing any trousers(!) We then see a man who is contesting the South Ward of Heywood Borough as an independent Socialist candidate, speaking about the problems independent candidates face. A divorced woman tells of the difficulties of bringing up children on little or no maintenance. We hear from a man opposed to the payment of social security benefits to dependants of strikers, claiming this subsidises the strikes. An woman criticises coarse language on television. An elderly man complains about pensioners having to wait six months for a pension payment rise. 09m06s
