Synopsis

This programme, from the series about people struggling for success, follows Liverpool Daily Post and Echo journalist and aspiring novellist Erland Clousteau as he reports on a street festival in Liverpool's Mathew Street marking the unveiling of a statue of Swiss psychologist Carl Gustaf Jung (who described Liverpool as "the pool of life"). Includes shots of Erland at the festival, various musicians performing to crowds, Jung's great-grandson unveiling the statue and Erland writing the story up back in the office.
