Synopsis

Pupils from Chethams School of Music in Manchester perform various musical pieces, both at the School and at the Royal Exchange Theatre in Manchester. Youngsters are shown singing in a choir and playing wind and brass instruments. Includes aerial shots of Manchester city centre, general views of Chethams School of Music and the Royal Exchange and old black and white stills of destitute children.
