Everything is going wrong - she is behind with the rent; arrives late at the hairdressers where she works and is given a warning by her boss; the customers get on her nerves. Then she hears the radio DJ announce the winning ticket number in a £1m competition. She realises she has won - shouts that her boss can keep his job, and dashes out of the shop, bumping into a passing tramp. Dancing around in delight, the winning ticket falls unnoticed out of her pocket. She arrives home to a notice to quit from her landlord.
