Reel 1 - A young woman and her mother, and a young man and his Canadian uncle, are planning trips to the Isle of Man. Women arrive by ferry at Douglas from Liverpool. Men arrive at Ronaldway from Speke. Reel 2 - Shots of Douglas, Castletown, Castle Rushen, King William's College, where the two pairs of holidaymakers are sightseeing. Uncle and mother recognise each other from long ago. Reel 3 - The four team up. Go to open air service at Kirk Braddon; horse-drawn tram on the prom in Douglas; Villa Marina; a train ride; Bradda Head for sea bathing; St. Patrick's Isle and St. Germain's Cathedral. Reel 4 - Visits to Port St. Mary, Rushen Abbey, Greeba Castle, Laxey, a typical Manx cottage, Snaefell; Sulby Glen, the Laxey wheel and Laxey Glen. Reel 5 - The foursome have a night out in Douglas - illuminations, Palace Theatre (shots of the show) and ballroom.
