There are views of a beauty contest and the family's Highland Terriers, and the family are seen in London at Buckingham Palace and at the Festival of Britain exhibition in 1951. Southfield Park horse show is shown, and the Collins are seen on holidays and trips to Blackpool, the Lake District and the Isle of Man. The film concludes with scenes from the Coronation Sports and Gala at Failsworth Lodge in 1953. Shots of the bank of the Suez Canal including monuments,exteriors of large houses, the local mountain town, surrounding countryside and ships that are docked at the canal port. There is a shot of navy personnel entering a ship, then performing the naval tradition of "crossing the line". Film jumps to local natives of Africa held by armed guards. Shots of the African plains, including zebra, lions and giraffe. Film ends with a short plane ride and brief shots a small army base.
