Film to show the operation of a machine to produce cattle feed from crops. The crop is seen in fields in Norfolk, being cut and harvested and fed into the crop drier. Here it is dried, chopped and ground before being bagged as cattle feed. The machine is manufatured by Petrie McNaught of Rochdale.

Family scenes of Mrs Hardman and her daughter Gail playing in a sand pit in the garden. They are also seen walking along the beach at Southport [?], eating ice creams and feeding some ducks on a pond. The film continues with interior shots of a little girl sitting on her bed, playing with a miniature dolls house and three little girls surrounded by pastry mixture, rolling pins and mixing bowls, pretending to be cooks in the garden.
 
 
 
[LYMM GRAMMAR SCHOOL - SNOW, SPORTS AND EXCURSIONS]

Pupils from Lymm Grammar School are seen building snowmen and having a snowball fight in the school grounds. Also includes scenes of a girls v boys hockey match and a large cross country race through woodlands and streets. Staff and pupils are also seen enjoying a camping trip - includes shots of the school children walking through the countryside and peeling potatoes for dinner. Further footage features the school fete and a line up of children wearing their costumes for the school play.

Members of the Finch family and their friends are seen in the garden of a house on several different occasions - the adults admire the plants and flowers, and the children play with the dogs. The family are seen in fancy dress leaving the house and the same garden is seen covered in snow, with family members throwing snowballs at one another and clearing the paths. The family's quarry business in Parbold is also seen covered in snow.

Footage of Prestwich carnival procession shows a brass band marching along Scholes Lane with children and adults dressed in colourful and historical costumes. Judith is briefly seen posing in a veiled costume holding a collection box. Concludes with Moss family visits to Ainsdale beach, Southport and Bournemouth.
 
 
 
[A SUNNY GARDEN AND A TRIP TO CONWAY]

A group of young people gather around a pond, before pairs of men and women take it in turn to saw through a tree trunk. In the garden, a programme of activities includes croquet and cricket and afternoon tea on the lawn, followed by dancing to a gramophone. The reel ends with three young women in Conway on a bleak day, looking around the castle and emerging from the ‘Smallest House in Great Britain’.

Manchester Wheelers Club members in Wales - arriving at the St Beauno Hotel in Clynnog. Members are seen looking at boats on the beach and sharing cigarettes in a church yard. A tandem is featured with both one and two riders. There is footage of a time-trial road cycle race and track racing, with motorcycles bringing the racers up to speed. Members play a bowling match at the Moss Rose Inn and there is footage of a cycle race starting and finishing in Hazel Grove, Stockport via High Peak. A hunt rides through a town - hounds and horses.

Scenes from a group holiday to Austria visiting various locations including St Johann in Tirol, the mountains and Salzburg. Brief views of people in a large garden are followed by scenes in the Lake District - a group of young people are seen hiking and there are general views of the scenery.

Footage of sailing boats on a lake is followed by scenes of the Grime family on a fishing trip. Geoffrey and Jane Grime are seen with a lamb, and there are scenes of Geoffrey riding a pony in the countryside. A procession of circus elephants passes through Hexham village, and there are further views of Geoffrey riding and jumping. Footage of the TT races on the Isle of Man are followed by views of the ferry ride back to Fleetwood, and of the Grime family on a picnic and playing in the garden at home.

A procession which includes clergy, parishioners and youth organisations from St Thomas and St Michael's churches (Werneth) parade along a suburban street, before walking through a set of gates towards camera. A brass band then lead the congregation in singing hymns in the churchyard and afterwards groups of worshippers are shown leaving or talking in small groups. Scenes from a fairground conclude, showing youths getting on and off various rides.

Hugh and May Howorth journey around Portugal taking in views of Salamanca, Lisbon and Estoril. Scenes of winemaking are featured at WC Graham Winery in Oporto, including the picking and blending of grapes, wine tasting and barrel making.
