The film begins with footage of a guy burning on a bonfire. There follow shots of RAF Hednesford, including the base itself, aircraft in action and the basic training of recruits. After scenes from Manchester Ringway airport, the film switches to colour with shots of flowers, parkland and ducks at Bruntwood Hall in Cheadle. The film concludes with holiday footage of Wallingford, Cambridge, Venice and Rome.

The film opens with scenes of two year old Lynn and her eight month old brother, Stephen, with their mother on the beach. We see scenes from a holiday including a church, cliffs, waterfall, a stately home and boats on a lake. We then see scenes from Rita's wedding. The mother of the bride is filmed arriving, and then the bride and bridesmaids. We see the wedding party and their guests outside the church. There are then scenes from Betty's wedding. Betty and the groom are seen leaving the church after ceremony.

Concludes with footage of a school camping trip to North Wales. Pupils are seen pitching their tents; serving up food; eating a meal and hiking across streams and fields.

Film record of Sam and Edith Hanna's holiday to France, Germany and Switzerland. After footage of leaving Dover, there are shots on board the channel ferry and of the arrival at Ostend. There are general views of Paris and the River Seine followed by shots of Cologne and boats on the River Rhine. The film moves to Switzerland and includes footage of the Rhine Falls, Lucerne, theSwiss Alps, Montreux and Zurich. The film also contains shots of the Hannas eating out at Swiss restaurants, looking round markets and visiting friends.
