The boys are seen playing in the garden at Marple, with their grandmother at Swallow Falls, Llangollen, and arriving at their grandparent's house in Cavendish Road, West Didsbury.

They take the lift up Blackpool Tower to the viewing platform and we see aerial shots of the coastline below. Back home in Swinton, Hazel's 4th birthday including waking up, Mum preparing sandwiches, the kids playing games with their grandparents and Hazel blowing out the candles on her cake. Hazel plays on a slide with Sharon before practicing skipping. Ends with views of a Whit Walk including brownies, scouts, cubs and a group of drummers. UNIDENTIFIED/FAIR PLAY

'Unidentified' - a boy is seen walking aimlessly around Birkenhead docks when a "UFO" appears [special effect created by punching a hole in the film]. The boy is seen running and jumping in slow motion, interacting with the ball of light. 'Fair Play' - a boy crosses the River Mersey by ferry to New Brighton. He visits the fairground and beach armed only with a one pound note, but manages to go on a donkey ride, see animals at the Woodland Zoo and enjoy rides on the fairground.
