The delegation from Manchester meet Dr Bridoux, Mayor of Mezieres, and the city's 'godparents' M. and Mme Bonnert are present at the inauguration of a hospital and the laying of a wreath to commemorate the war dead. A crowd is in attendance including various civic groups such as fire fighters. The film closes with shots of Mezieres' prominent buildings including its cathedral and Town Hall. | |||
