There is a family holiday to Llandudno, we see the family enjoying themselves on the beach, the pier and on fairground rides. We see the family outside the Bella Vista bed and breakfast, and there are shots of Conwy Castle. The film ends with more cars arriving and large crowds inspecting the vehicles.

A promotional film for Hodson Machinery of Bury, Lancashire who specialise in machinery for the rubber industry. We see the owner Ron Hodson and his brother Derek looking over plans, then the drawing office and engineering scenes. We follow part of a rubber mill through various stages of rebuilding such as milling, fabricating and welding. The rebuilt mill is then thoroughly tested before being transported to any world-wide destination. The film ends with scenes of a rebuilt rubber mill at work for Hondura Ltd in Keighley in Yorkshire.

A film of the travels of preserved steam locomotive Pug 51218 from the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway to operate an enthusiast tour around lines in the Rochdale area on 19th February 1967 and to work on loan at the Brown and Poulson factory in Trafford Park, Manchester. The engine is on display on a lorry at Rochdale Fire Station and taken to Newton Heath loco shed to begin its tours and period on hire at the Factory.

A short comedy film with a man enjoying a picnic, he discovers a wishbone in his sandwich so he makes a wish. Suddenly an inept wizard appears and after several attempts grants him his wish of turning water into petrol He does this on the understanding that the man does not sell the magic wand. On the journey home the man meets a fellow motorist that has run out of petrol. He shows him the magic wand which the motorist buys only for the man to discover it was the wizard after all! He then makes his car disappear.
 
 
 
JASON AND THE GOLDEN FISH

A short drama beginning at a funfair where Jason hooks a duck and wins a goldfish in a jar. At home Jason carries the goldfish everywhere with him even to bed. In the morning Jason visits his Gran but on the way home a passer-by bumps into him and he drops the jar and the fish is lost. Jason is distraught so his parents visit the fair and win him another fish which they give him for his birthday.
 
 
 
[VICKERS CENTENARY GALA 10TH JUNE 1967]

The Vickers Centenary Gala on 10th June 1967, held at Vickers Sports Club in Hawcoat Park in Barrow begins with two men sat on a pole pillow fighting above a pool of water. A gymnastic team tumbling and trampolining in front of a large crowd of spectators. Chefs basting and cutting an ox roast as people queue to be fed. Match action from a ladies' football match between the engineers and shipbuilders. Majorettes dance with pom-poms followed by a tug-of-war, then underexposed footage of couples dancing to a band. After a firework display we have a procession led by Highland pipers through the streets of Barrow to and from a large church. The film ends with a parachute display team landing onto the sports ground.
 
 
 
CENTENARY PAGEANT, CRAVEN PARK, JUNE 12TH-16TH 1967

Scenes from the Vickers' Centenary Pageant, 12th-16th June 1976. A Highland pipe band lead the Vickers' parade through the streets of Barrow followed by performers in Victorian costumes. A helicopter takes off from Craven Park then scenes from the pageant watched by a crowd sat in the stands. The show includes marching bands, a horse drawn carriage, children's races and Highland dancing.

A compilation of films taken in and around Frizington in Cumbria and a trip to Scotland. Lakeland scenes are followed by a snowy bungalow and countryside. A crane lifting and moving a stone column then men tarmacking the bungalows driveway and laying ornamental bricks in the garden. 'Frizzington Tigers versus ?' a men v women football match on a very muddy pitch! A journey on the Eskdale and Ravenglass miniature railway is followed by a carnival parade with decorated floats, marching bands and fancy dress. A man on a scooter and a tractor ploughing a field are followed by a handful of baby mice The film ends with a visit to Feugh Bridge and Crathie Parish Church in Scotland with distant views of Balmoral.
