On Christmas morning in the Kelsall household in Waddicar, the children excitedly open their presents. Later the children sit wearing their Christmas hats and enjoy some turkey. The film cuts to the farm where the mother shows the young child new-born lambs. The children and their father play on a see saw in the family garden, the youngest can be seen bottle-feeding a lamb. At a sports day, children take part in various races. On a family holiday, the children play in the resort playground, swim in the pool and later build sandcastles in the sandpit.
