Film featuring men in a forest chopping down trees, which are then dragged away by a team of horses. The men are briefly seen building a wooden frame with the aid of a horse operated pulley. Continues with footage from North Wales featuring shots of Llandudno, including Great Orme's Head, and Conway, including the castle and suspension bridge.
 
 
 
ON THE BANKS OF THE RIVER AUDE

The film opens with shots of a town and a marble quarry on the banks of the River Aude. It continues with footage from the Alhambra of Granada, a palace. There is also footage from Athens with tourists seen at prominent buildings and amongst ruins, from Sfax in Africa and from Constantine. Footage from the latter two locations includes shots of tribal musicians, a netmaker, a flute maker and a muslim woman praying.
 
 
 
SARDINE FISHING [PLUS ROUEN PORT AND HARVESTING COCONUTS]

Opens with footage of sardine fishing. The nets are seen beng cast, the bait thrown and the nets hauled in. The sardines are seen being sorted and carried ashore. The film also includes footage from the French port of Rouen. Cranes and winches are seen transporting cargo to and from boats. The film closes with material shot on a coconut plantation on the Phillipines. The coconuts are seen being harvested, made into a boat and processed by hand.
