LIVERPOOL FESTIVAL OF YOUTH

A parade through Liverpool centre to celebrate the city's youth. Along Pall Mall children, cadets and organisers are seen preparing themselves, their vehicles and floats for the parade. A YMCA sign reads, "Liverpool believes in youth," and the Mayor gives an interview. The parade is seen passing through the city centre and includes a Chinese dragon, marching bands, majorettes, youth clubs, cadets, Miss Liverpool, Liverpool Sailing club, Merseyside Carribean council, brownies and the Booker Ave School Mersey quiz champions.
