Scenes from the Eglwysbach Show Agricultural & Horticultural Show in North Wales. We see cattle being paraded on the show ground and competitors receiving their prizes and trophies. A group of cub scouts play football on the beach. The family enjoy some time on the promenade outside of Butlin's Pwllheli. They later visit the grave of David Lloyd George. Later, Patricia competes in the York Horse Trials and later can be seen receiving her prize. Harvesting in Dalton (Lancashire), Ashurst's Beacon can be seen in the background of the fields. Later the family gather together and pose infront of the house for the camera and again in the back garden. On the farm an excited lamb runs around a herd of goats. In separate scenes a woman plays with a puppy in the garden. The film ends with sightseeing in London.

Scenes of Mrs Brookes and her two grandsons in a park playground. The boys' father is seen climbing up the slide with his eldest son, who starts crying when he gets to the top. They are also seen having a ride on the roundabout. The film also features footage of 'Uncle Peter' providing family entertainment in the form of an open air children's show at Blackpool. Includes scenes of the boys and girls on stage, playing a game of musical chairs - a stick of rock is given to each of the losers and the winner received a football. Concludes with brief scenes of a couple of men and women from the audience, up on stage, singing into the microphone.

Film of the Duke of Edinburgh's visit to Manchester. The Royal plane is seen at Manchester Airport. The Duke is greeted by various civic dignitaries. Continues with the Duke's arrival at Maine Road, he enters the stadium and is seen being introduced to the Manchester City team. There is brief footage from the match against Manchester United - United score. The Duke then visits a design exhibition, he is seen talking with designers and presenting awards. Closes with footage of the Duke and his entourage strolling around the King Street area. The Duke chats with members of the crowd lining the streets before leaving in the Royal Car.
 
 
 
[1964 FA CUP FINAL PRESTON NORTH END V WEST HAM UNITED]

Film of the 1964 FA Cup final between Preston North End and West Ham United. The crowd are seen and heard singing ' It's a long way to Tipperary' - a conductor leads the singing from a podium. The teams come out onto the pitch. There is footage of various incidents from the match, despite leading 2-1 at half time Preston North End lose 3-2. A military band is seen performing at half time. After collecting the cup and parading it around the pitch's perimeter Bobby Moore and some of his team mates are seen drinking milk from it.

Salford Lads' Club boys are seen leaving Salford and arriving at camp in Aberystwyth. On arrival, there are views of the new cookhouse and the lads are seen playing football and getting washed before dinner. There is a visit to the local river for a swim and the whole group poses for the camp photograph. Footage of a game of cricket on the beach at Borth is followed by views of the lads' club president arriving to give an inspection back at camp. On the last day, there is footage of the tents being packed away as well as from a refreshment stop at Whitchurch on the way home.
