This video provides a fascinatiing insight into the first one hundred years of the Manchester Ship Canal. Colour footage and black and white film from as early as 1912 shows the Canal at work. See the construction of the Queen Elizabeth II Dock at Eastham, and go behind the scenes of the Dock Office in 1967.
