Description |
Scenes at a go-kart racing event in Chorley, with participants being hauled up a steep grassy hill and the racing back down again on momentum alone. There is footage of Chorley Round Table Charity Carnival street procession in 1967, with floats, a marching band, and the Carnival Queen. Numerous veteran cars are seen travelling along the A6 in Chorley, and the film ends in Blackpool; shots of the Tower, the illuminations and the beginning of a coach race on the Promenade. |
