Views of the wartime Rosin open storage site near Bolton being prepared by heavy vehicles moving earth, followed by large bales of cotton being stacked on brick platforms and covered by tarpaulins. Large metal drums are next seen being unloaded from lorries before a fire-fighting practice takes place on the site, presided over by the visiting Colonel Lyon.
