Description

A detailed history of the Anglican church of St Paul’s, in Royton, Oldham. Introduced by Frances Stott, and including archive prints and photographs, we learn of the development of the building from its beginnings as an 18th century chapel. The priest, Fr. David Booth, then leads us around the church, drawing on his extensive background knowledge to highlight the stained glass windows, statues, carvings and architectural features of historical and local significance.
