Scenes from a cruise around the Mediterranean aboard the Arandora Star in 1933. The liner is seen leaving Southampton, past the White Cliffs to the open sea. The cruise visits Vigo in Spain (shots of the harbour, the promenade, and various tall-masted sailing ships), views aboard ship and a visit to Gibraltar, where people passing over the border are shown being searched. |
