A visit by King George VI and Queen Elizabeth to Broadheath on 17th July 1946. They are seen arriving by car through crowds of people and then on the podium being introduced to the Mayor of Altrincham, other dignitaries and local business representatives. Press can be seen taking photographs before the Royal party leaves and the crowds begin to disperse. |
