Description |
The design and production of a stained glass window at Shrigley and Hunt Ltd in Lancaster. A window is designed and drawn out on paper. Individual glass shapes are cut to size, painted and fired in a kiln. The glass shapes are placed on plate glass and joined together to allow further painting. There are shots of the finished glass being 'leaded' together and the joints of the lead being soldered to complete the window. The film ends with shots of stained glass windows in a church. |
