Description

The landscape, attractions and traditions of Wharfedale and its villages in the Yorkshire Dales. Visitors are seen at Ilkley Moor, Bolton Priory and the River Wharfe. At Burnsall, crowds gather for the annual Feast Sports event which includes clay pigeon shooting, a tug-of-war in addition to walking, sprinting and fell running races. The landmarks of Barden Tower, Linton Falls and Simon's Seat are featured, and the film also visits Grassington, Conistone, Kilnsey and Kettlewell.
