Description |
Film of Manchester School of Art. Students are seen drawing, arranging a still life, reading books and rehearsing a play. A lecture illustrated by slides is seen being delivered, Mr Cantrill - the head of department is featured and members of staff are seen judging paintings. There is a sequence of someone stoking a furnace intercut with people mopping their brows - illustrating the "very efficient heating system". Closes with two students (?) ballet dancing whilst dressed as Ancient Greeks (some in slow motion) |
