Description |
The festival parade begins with a girls' dance troupe, a marching brass band, people in fancy dress and decorated floats pulled by tractors. The Rose Queens are seen in a convertible vintage car with a horse drawn carriage bringing up the rear of the festival parade. A parade of floats is followed by the coronation ceremony of the Rose Queen and the prize giving for the fancy dress and decorated bicycles. The prizes are awarded for the decorated floats followed by shots of the coconut shy, a children's carousel and a child eating an ice cream. |
