Description |
Scenes from the Royal Naval Review in the Firth of Clyde on 10th August 1965. The Queen and Prince Philip are seen boarding and being shown around several naval vessels, including HMS Kent and Maidstone; they also investigate the interior of the Royal Navy’s first nuclear submarine, HMS Dreadnought. Later, the royal couple in evening dress attend a formal dinner aboard HMS Lion. The reel ends with the crew of HMS Lion bidding farewell as the royal yacht departs. |
