Description

Scenes from a holiday to Scotland, including Dumfriesshire, Ayrshire, Argyll and St. Andrews. The Hanna family eat a picnic and wash cups in a river, walk in the ruins of Loch Doon Castle and travel on the Rest and Be Thankful road to Cairndow and Loch Fyne. After shots of military ships in a loch, there is footage of the esplanade at Helensburgh and Scotland's First House at Gretna. The family play golf at St. Andrews and visit the castle ruins. The film ends with a mixture of shots including a statue of Robert Burns in Dumfries and wedding guests waving to a car as it drives off.
