Description |
Players run onto the pitch at Burnham Park for the George Eccles benefit match between 'Present Bolton' and 'Past Bolton' on 27th April 1931. Scenes of match action which 'Present' Bolton went on to win 2-1. Also includes footage from the 2nd October 1948 Bolton Wanderers v Arsenal match, including Bolton scoring a goal (1-0 final score). Field Marshall Viscount Montgomery (a Freeman of Bolton) is introduced by the Mayor to the players and boys' clubs before match action against Newcastle on 5th November 1949 (2-2 final score). |
