Description

Wedding scenes at Rotherham Parish church on a wet day – the wedding party arrives, the younger bridesmaids being carried into the church to keep their dresses dry. After the ceremony, the bridal couple leave the church and confetti is thrown; they arrive at the reception and make their way through a crowd of onlookers waiting at a bus stop. At the reception, there are shots of friends and family, and the couple cut the wedding cake. On a later date, the couple and bridesmaids reassemble in their wedding outfits in a garden, so they can have a colour film record of the special event. The soundtrack has Stanley Ellam supplying a voiceover naming guests in the wedding party, and commenting on the proceedings.
