Description

A portrait of William Hesketh Lever, first Lord Leverhulme, concentrating on his achievements and philanthropy. Includes scenes at Port Sunlight both in factories (then and now), and in the village; voyages abroad with family and friends; Port Sunlight villagers on a visit to the Great Exhibition in Brussels in 1924; and visiting plantations and missions in Nigeria and the Belgian Congo.
