Description

Scenes at Grange Park Girls' School, St Helens - girls arriving and assembly. There are geography and P.E lessons and girls are seen reading in the library. The senior girls have lessons in domestic science - baking, cleaning and ironing. In a music lesson The girls are seen singing in a music lesson, conducting experiments in science and designing dresses and painting a mural in art. Lunch break is followed by drama and some girls are seen making dolls, teddybears and Christmas cards. The senior girls make and display clothes and leather bags, while the younger girls do weaving. There is dance in the school hall, some gardening, netball and leaving for home.
