Description

Scenes from a wedding are followed by the 1st Pendlebury Boy Scouts enjoying Whit Week camp at Tawd Vale Camp, Lancashire - setting up, swimming in the lake, playing football and cricket and larking around. The Guide and Brownie District Sports Day - with various races and a high jump contest is followed by the North West Area Finals of the Soap Box Derby in Salford. There's a trip to Belle Vue Zoological Gardens for the cubs and brownies with views of the various animals and an acrobatic display, miniature railway, boat trip and funfair. Scenes from a scout and guide trip to North Wales - paddling in the sea, having a picnic and playing rounders on a beach.
