Unedited footage of Higher Mill in Helmshore, shot in July 1972, for inclusion in a BBC 'Chronicle' programme, shown as part of the 'Industrial Grand Tour of Great Britain' series. Includes interior shots of the fulling miller followed by close up shots of the spinning machinery. The programme presenter is seen talking and looking at the mill from the overlooking railway viaduct. [There is no final edit of the finished programme see 1993 - 2001 for related material]. |
