Description |
Scenes from a season in the life of the Mancunian Swim Squad from 1972, as they attend training sessions under their coaches Mrs L Pantling and Eric Harrison at New Islington Pool. Members of past squads are shown in photographs and present members are seen arriving at the pool with their parents. The squad go to the Northern Counties Festival of Swimming at Derby Baths in Blackpool, where they compete in races, before returning to their regular practice routines back at New Islington. Concludes with views of a swimming gala. |
