Description |
Scenes from Jillian and John's wedding which took place 1/9/1979 at St. Margaret's Church, Heywood. We see Jillian on the day before the wedding, messing around in the front garden in a fancy dress outfit. On the day of the wedding we see members of the wedding party, and the bride, setting off for the church in the wedding car. We then see people arriving at church. After the ceremony the bride and groom leave the church and scouts form a guard of honour for them to walk through. They pose for photos and mill around outside the church. We then see the reception at a place described as 'The House on the Hill'. There are only brief scenes here where we see the cake being cut. We then see the wedding party back home where they are throwing a party. There are people sat outside in deckchairs and also inside, where there is a buffet. |
